™

(GWP Series)

The EZ Wall Pack is a perfect

choice for general-security

lighting applications that call

for a higher wattage, glass-

lensed wall pack. It provides

superior ease of installation

and serviceability, is

designed for extreme

resistance to weather and

insect infiltration, and is

available through 400 watts.

Wall Packs (W0)

The versatile Wall Pack is

available in two housing

sizes, 12" or 16" square.

Lamps range from

150–320W PSMH, 35–400W

HPS, 50–400W MH and

13–26W fluorescent. 320W

PSMH and 400W MH utilize

a ED28 reduced envelope

lamp.

Square Series

Our Square Series luminaries

have an endless number of

uses. With your choice of

two housing sizes, five

Surface Square

Energy efficiency and ease of

installation are coupled into

Housing

The copper-free, die-cast

aluminum housing is

standard with our exclusive

DeltaGuard

®

finish, featuring

an E-coat epoxy primer with

bronze ultra-durable powder

topcoat. Field-installed wire

guard accessory is available.

Optics

A clear borosilicate-glass

refractor lens is held securely

inside the die-cast lens

frame. A precision aluminum

reflector provides forward

throw with wide distribution

to ensure wide fixture

spacings and maximum light

levels. The optical chamber

is sealed to reduce dirt and

insect contamination. All

PSMH and MH fixtures use

vertical-lamp position. 16"

Ballast

All fixtures are standard with

a high power factor ballast.

The majority of EZ Wall Pack

fixtures are supplied with a

multi-volt ballast. In the US,

the standard ballast includes

120, 208, 240 and 277 volts;

in Canada, the standard

ballast includes 120, 277

and 347 volts (some

wattages are standard with a

120/277 dual-volt ballast).

Optics

A clear, tempered glass lens is held

securely in a die cast, recessed door

frame. The lens frame is supplied with

mounting holes for field-installed

accessories, such as the Polycarbonate

Vandal Shield, Wire Guard or Wall

Wash/Glare Shield.

Ballast

All fixtures are standard with a high

power factor ballast. The 35W HPS

fixture is standard with a 120V ballast.

The 50W fixtures are standard with a

Dual-volt ballast (120/277V). In the U.S.

all other wattages are standard with a

Quad-volt ballast (120/208/240/277V).

In Canada 150–320W PSMH, 70–400W

MH and 70–400W HPS fixtures are

supplied with Tri-volt ballasts

(120/277/347V), 50W is supplied with

a Dual-volt ballast (120/277V). See

Lamps

The 12" square housing accommodates

150W PSMH, 50–175W MH and

35–150W HPS medium base lamps.

The 16" square housing accommodates

320W PSMH; 175, 250 or 400W MH;

and 250 or 400W HPS mogul base

lamps. (320W PSMH and 400W MH

utilize the ED28 reduced envelope

lamp).

Mounting

The housing is supplied with four

0.188" clearance holes for #8 screws.

Four #8 x 1" sheet metal screws and

sealing washers are provided for a

watertight seal. A SB-16 Surface Box

accessory is available for surface wiring.

The SB-16 is required with 12" sq.,

150 & 175W and 16" sq. 320 & 400W

fixtures, unless mounted to a brick,

concrete block or metal surface. 150°C

minimum supply wire required.

Gasketing

Complete silicone gasketing around

lens frame and at mounting provide a

watertight seal.

Reflector Systems

By varying internal shrouds

and reflectors, five optical

systems are available to meet

a wide range of applications.

A virtually unbreakable

polycarbonate lens is

UV-stabilized to minimize

yellowing problems common

with most fixtures of this type.

Lamps

A medium-base HID lamp is

included with each fixture. HID

fixtures range from 35 to 175

watts. Some models also are

available in fluorescent and

include a 26- or 57-watt quad-

tube, 32- or 42-watt triple-tube

compact fluorescent lamp.

Ballasts

Inside the housing, the ballast

and electrical components are

strategically located to reduce

operating temperatures and

extend component life. The

8-inch square fixtures are

standard with a normal-power-

factor ballast; 12-inch square

fixtures use a high-power-

factor ballast. Fluorescent

fixtures are standard with an

electronic universal ballast that

senses supply voltage 120

through 277-volt.

Compact Size

Two sizes are available:

Installation

Housing

The seamless die-cast aluminum

housing is standard with our exclusive

DeltaGuard

®

finish featuring an E-coat

epoxy primer and white ultra-durable

powder topcoat. Consult factory for

availability of other finish colors.

Two sizes are available:

8 inches square x 3 deep and

10 inches square x 3.9 inches deep.

Meets Americans with Disability Act

Accessibility Guidelines (ADAAG) with a

depth less than 4 inches.

Optics

The internal reflector is finished with a

diffuse white powder coat and provides

high fixture efficiency. The translucent

lens provides uniform illumination, so

fixtures can be used in horizontal or

vertical mountings in a wide variety of

applications.

Lens

A diffuse, polycarbonate translucent

lens is supplied for maximum vandal

resistance. Provides soft, uniform glow

without typical socket shadows found

with other compact fluorescent units.

Ballast

All fixtures are standard with an energy-

efficient, 120-volt (8 inch) or 120-277-

volt (10 inch) high-power-factor,

electronic low-temperature ballast

(optional 277V for 8 inch). Minimum

start temperature is -15°F (-25°C); [for

cold storage applications 0°F (-18°C)];

maximum ambient is 95°F (35°C). For

the 28- and 38-watt units only, an

optional magnetic Emergency Ballast is

available. If power is interrupted, the

Emergency Ballast provides battery

backup for the fixture for a minimum of

90 minutes, providing 700-lumen

output of the 2D lamp. The 120/277V

Emergency Ballast has a minimum

ambient of 32°F (0°C) and a maximum

ambient temperature of 122°F (50°C).

Lamps

The 8-inch housing accommodates a

compact 21-watt, 2D fluorescent lamp

with an 8,000- hour-rated life. The 10-

inch square housing accommodates a

compact 28-watt or 38-watt 2D

fluorescent lamp, with a 10,000-hour

average life. These efficient lamps

provide lower maintenance costs, better

color rendering (3500°K), as well as

energy savings of 73 percent as

compared with incandescent lamps.

Lampholders are snap-in type.

Mounting

The fixture is designed for a variety of

mounting methods. Knockouts are

provided on the back of the housing for

1/2-inch conduit entry, mounting over

single-gang box, 4-inch square or 4-

inch octagon boxes.

Gasketing

Complete silicone gasketing around the

lens frame and a neoprene back gasket

provide a watertight seal. (Back gasket

required for wet listing only.)

Wiring

194°F (90°C) feed wire is required.

Labels

UL Listed in the US and Canada for wet

locations, and enclosure classified IP54

per IEC 529 and IEC 598. The 120/277V

Emergency Ballast is UL Listed in the

US and Canada for dry locations or

damp locations only.

Ruud

HID Rectangular Lights

are designed with a die-cast

aluminum ballast housing. For

added durability, the housing is

standard with our exclusive

DeltaGuard

®

finish, featuring an

E-coat epoxy primer and a

bronze ultra-durable powder

topcoat. A neoprene gasket on

the back of the housing

provides a watertight mounting

seal.

Reflector Systems

Seven HID and five fluorescent

optical systems are available by

varying internal shrouds,

reflectors and lamp position.

Silver shroud is standard. A

specially formulated acrylic

lens withstands continuous

exposure to high heat and

ultraviolet light.

Lamps

HID fixtures include a medium-

base lamp. Fluorescent fixtures

include one or two 13-watt

twin-tube or one 26-watt,

32-watt or 42-watt triple-tube

compact fluorescent lamp.

Ballasts

Inside the housing, the

electrical components are

separated to reduce operating

temperatures and extend

component life. A 120-volt

normal-power-factor ballast is

standard for HID. Fluorescent

fixtures are standard with an

electronic universal ballast that

senses supply voltage 120

through 277-volt.

Installation

Installation is simplified by a

fixture assembly bar supplied

to mount the fixture over a

recessed junction box. Use our

ESB-7 Surface Mounting Box

accessory where surface wiring

is required.

Compact Size

The fixture measures 10" W x

6" H x 6.45" D.

Labels

All rectangular lights are UL

Listed in the US and Canada for

wet locations, and enclosure

classified IP54 per IEC 529 and

IEC 598.

The reflector directs light downward to

wash the wall below and to the sides of

the fixture. The wide distribution permits

Up/Down Cutoff

Both uplight and downlight are possible

in this configuration. Top and bottom

lens surfaces are clear, while removable

mirrored shroud on sides provides

beam control and sharp cutoff.

E8 Series

Deep Shielded

The full-front shroud eliminates glare.

When mounted as pictured, this unit

gives full downlight distribution, ideal

for over an entrance. Or reverse the

mounting orientation to achieve great

accent uplighting, as under display

windows in commercial applications.

up to 60 watts maximum. In this series,

the incandescent lamp is NOT included.

E2 Series

Fluorescent Lights

These fixtures are supplied with a 13 or

26W twin (quad) tube, 32 or 42W triple

tube compact fluorescent lamp. These

efficient lamps provide up to 900

lumens from a mere 13W lamp and

3500 lumens from a 42W lamp. Lamp

life is rated at 10,000 hours, keeping

maintenance to a minimum.

An electronic universal voltage

120–277V high power factor (hpf)

ballast is standard. Ballast options

include magnetic 120 or 277V normal

power factor (npf) for 13 and 26W (2-

13W lamps); electronic 347V high

power factor (hpf) for 26, 32 or 42W

(Canada only).

E1 Series

Translucent Lens

Suitable for wall or ceiling mount, the

Translucent Lens casts a soft, even

light in all directions.

E2 Series

Ceiling Cutoff

This ceiling mounted unit is shrouded

on all sides, offering controlled

downlight.

Order Information

Construction

The Bollard Panel consists of a heavy-

gauge aluminum frame with two

10-inch-wide panels that are easily

assembled with the stainless-steel

fasteners provided. The Bollard Panel

comes with a recessed junction box to

wire and support Rectangular Security

(E Series) or Circular Security (CE

Series) fixtures. The entire panel is

standard with our exclusive DeltaGuard

®

finish, featuring an E-coat epoxy primer

with bronze ultra-durable powder

topcoat. Please consult factory for

availability of other finish colors.

Installation

Two 3/8" x 6" steel anchor bolts are

provided to secure the Bollard Panel in

a poured concrete base. We suggest a 2'

deep x 12" wide poured base, unless

soil type and frost line in your area

dictate a deeper base. Two conduit entry

openings in the base of the frame help

to ease wiring when a Security fixture is

used.

Performance

Great low-level lighting results from

installing our E or CE Series fixtures on

the Bollard Panel. We recommend the

use of our E3, E4, E8, CE3 or CE8

fixtures. The isofootcandle chart reflects

the wide spacings, sharp cutoff and

good uniformities that can be achieved.

Application

The Bollard Panel is commonly used to

support a Ruud

®

Security Light. The

illuminated panel produces excellent

accent lighting for many applications,

including walkways, around swimming

pools, landscaped grounds or parking

CE Series Circular

Lights are designed with an

aluminum die-cast ballast

housing. For added durability,

the housing is supplied with

our exclusive DeltaGuard

®

finish, which features an E-coat

epoxy primer and bronze ultra-

durable powder topcoat. A

EPDM/neoprene gasket on the

back of the housing provides a

watertight mounting seal.

Reflector Systems

By varying internal shrouds

and reflectors, seven optical

systems are available to meet

a wide range of applications.

A specially formulated acrylic

lens withstands continuous

exposure to high heat and UV.

A silicone seal bonds the lens

to a die-cast aluminum retainer

ring, which secures that

assembly to the housing. An

additional silicone seal between

the lens assembly and housing

ensures a weather- and insect-

tight seal.

Lamps

The CE Series is available in

13-watt fluorescent or 50-to-

100-watt MH or HPS. A

medium-base HID or a 13-watt

quad-tube compact fluorescent

lamp is included with each

fixture.

Ballasts

Inside the housing, the ballast

and electrical components are

strategically located to reduce

operating temperatures and

extend component life. A

normal-power-factor ballast is

standard.

Wiring

150°C supply wire is required

on HID fixtures.

Installation

The housing is supplied with

two 1/4-inch knockouts for #8

or #10 mounting screws, two

sealing washers are provided

for a watertight mounting. The

housing also is supplied with

three 1/2-inch flush threaded

openings with socket-drive

closure plugs, for center back

entry, side-to-side or (by

rotating the housing) top-to-

bottom through wiring.

Compact Size

The fixture measures 8 inches

in diameter by 8.6 inches deep.
